Is Your Pool Ready For Summer?

The best way to keep your pool cool and clean is with regular routine care.  Keeping up with the regular maintenance can help your pool last for years to come.  Here are a few tips and a good video to help you take care of your pool.
1. Get rid of the floaters.Skim the debris off of the surface and clean out the baskets every couple of days.
2. Wash the walls.You want to make sure you are cleaning off any scum or algae build up.This will help reduce the amount on chemicals you need to put in to the pool.
3. Clean out that filter.No matter what kind of filter you have make sure you are cleaning it.Pay attention to the directions for your filter.If you clean it too often it can let particles through that would normally get caught on the filter.

Is Your Gear Getting Soaked?

Wash

The first step is to clean up your gear. Anything you have spilt will clog the pores of your gear’s fabric.. When a fabric’s pores are clogged, moisture cannot escape and you end up soaked in your own sweat. Wash your garments on a normal, cold-water cycle with a powder detergent.  You can also any of the many specialized cleaners that are out there.

Dry
